I got updates which was wonderful since the journal insert was coming from overseas! The wallet insert is made out of nice leather, beautifully stitched and fits perfectly in my small journal. Very pleased
The item is beautiful made and came with a lovely note. It shipped out super fast after ordering, though took about 2 weeks to get delivered to the US, which I expected. My only major complaint is that it is too big for passport travelers notebook. It protrudes a noticeable amount. I'm not sure why mine doesn't fit as I my notebook is from Travelers Company. If you are looking for a wallet insert that sits flush in your TN, this might not be the one for you.

Very happy with my purchase! The light brown color looks just like the picture. The leather is not bulky and smooth feeling, not at all napped textured like some leathers can be. I also appreciate the hand written note and that it included a pretty drawstring pouch (not pictured). I have the insert inside my Galen Leather passport cover (its a bit wider than the TRC brand and has 3 strands vs. 1) and there is no overhang. Love!

Another wonderful quality item. I love the colour and feel of the leather and how it's starting to patina. It's only be a couple of weeks but it's holding up well and feels very hardy.
My only wish is that the closure band was a little bit thinner (a similar thickness as the insert bands) and that there was a little excess so I could re-knot it with a little extra - my TN/Wallet is quite chunky and the band is very tight. Or maybe an option to purchase with an extra inch on the closure band would be lovely next time.
Even with those two notes, I am still extremely happy with my purchase and will be back again for any more TN/Wallet needs!
I adore this TN-Passport-sized wallet insert! The leather is beautifully buttery and the zip feels extremely hardy. I've had my items for almost 2 weeks and they are starting to show a beautiful patina. Swantje was super fast in answering a question I had before purchasing and was very helpful. This is probably my favorite purchase I’ve ever made on Etsy. This is a beautifully crafted travel pocket notebook. The brown is a lovely warm chestnut color in real life. Both the leather cover and pocket insert smell and feel supple and rich. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the craftsmanship. I am so happy to own this and can’t wait to adventure with it. I highly recommend the seller if you’re looking for a high quality, inexpensive alternative to Traveler’s Notebook/Company. Also I love the little handwritten message! Thank you!

I love these journal inserts. They go perfectly in these pocket size little journals without adding extra weight. Gives you room for credit cards, pictures or whatever you needs are. In the zippered compartment you can put money or anything you really want.

Very happy about the cover with 4 elastics. It is a very simple, soft but sturdy leather that looks amazing. I have come to realize that I prefere the closure elastic on the spine to the one on the back. This cover has it on the back, but it is not going to be an issue at all.
I ordered the wallet insert, it is beautiful and well made but not very functional for a true wallet use. It only has 3 card slots and one secretarial pocket on the same side plus one zipper closed pouch on the other side. I don't care a lot of cards arround, however in betweeen the IDs, the driving licence not much space for the rest is left. Not impossible, but not something that covers my needs entirely.
